Offering is my 5th record (and the last Bird By Snow release). Recorded and performed entirely by me. Eight completely analog recordings put to tape at various power spots in Big Sur, California. This wild landscape, relatively new to me, is the primary inspiration for the album. I attempt to envision and summon stories from an ancient future. The tales of people living timelessly in place. Folk songs for future generations of the re-indigenous people. Sung by me as I myself am learning to live close to the land.
